WHO WE ARE

Multi Solutions CC was founded in July 2009 by Mr. Nicodemus Nghinyotwa in Windhoek, Namibia.

What began humbly from a rented bedroom in Windhoek West has grown into a respected electrical contracting and construction company.

Drawing on his academic training at the Polytechnic of Namibia, now known as the Namibia University

of Science and Technology (NUST), along with the practical experience he gained during internships

at Jacobs Engineering Consultants, Mr. Nghinyotwa turned his vision into reality. His journey

was fueled by resilience, hard work, determination, faith, innovation, and a commitment to creating

employment opportunities for fellow graduates.

EARLY CHALLENGES AND MILESTONES

The company’s early years were marked by determination and perseverance. Despite submitting up

to four bids per week, Multi Solutions did not secure a project for the first 2.5 years in operation. That

persistence paid off in 2012, when Multi Solutions CC landed two significant contracts: wiring the

Anti-Corruption Commission building and the Auditor General Head Office in Windhoek, followed by

the wiring of the Southern Africa Custom Union (SACU) headquarters in Namibia.

These milestones established Multi Solutions as a credible player in Namibia’s construction and electrical

contracting sector. Startup capital was creatively sourced, when Mr. Nghinyotwa collected and

resold empty bottles to fund tender documents and salaries.

The company was born out of necessity and vision. As a graduate of Electrical Engineering, Mr. Nghinyotwa

faced limited employment opportunities and chose to create his own path. Coming from

a disadvantaged background, he was motivated to break cycles of poverty and provide opportunities

for others. His entrepreneurial spirit evident since high school, when he employed peers to sell

earrings and worked parttime to pay school fees continues to shape Multi Solutions CC’s ethos of

empowerment, resilience, and innovation.

Multi Solutions CC built its reputation through the tendering process, acquiring projects by demonstrating

competence, integrity, and value. The company’s first performance guarantee was supported by

Pupkewitz Megatech, which also extended credit facilities for acquiring electrical materials. Over time,

Multi Solutions evolved from wiring commercial buildings to delivering largescale rural electrification

medium and low voltage as well as reticulation projects, supported by proper office infrastructure and

a growing team of skilled professionals.
